Research and Discovery
Each year Gary takes undertakes multiple expeditions throughout the world to continue his mission of essential oil discovery. These trips have led to the distillation of exotic, limited-edition essential oils such as Hong Kuai, Yuzu, Mastrante, and Frereana Frankincense and Young Living exclusives such as
Idaho Blue Spruce
and
Eucalyptus Blue. In his travels to Ecuador alone, Gary has discovered and distilled dozens of rare Amazonian plants.
Besides ongoing discovery efforts, we continuously research the wellness potential of both rare and commonly used essential oils. Studies by Gary and our research staff appear in scientific journals, and Gary has written a number of books on his essential oil findings.
