Young Living Appoints Doug Nelson as Chief Operating Officer

Lehi, Utah—Young Living Founder and President Gary Young and Executive Vice President Mary Young have appointed Doug Nelson, former General Manager of Young Living's lavender farms, as Chief Operating Officer.
Doug earned a Master of Science degree from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico. A former associate professor in the College of Health and Human Performance, Doug's professional experience includes teaching at Brigham Young University, serving in executive management positions in three top-tier businesses, and effectively managing day-to-day operations at Young Living's farms in Mona, Utah, and St. Maries, Idaho.
Doug Nelson's commitment to Young Living's farms has been a key component to the company's success over the years. The diligence and intelligence with which he has managed the farms will serve him well in his new position.
In addition to naming a new Chief Operating Officer, the following individuals have been appointed to executive positions and have been invited to serve as members of Young Living's Executive Board:
