My sister does these all the time in the dehydrator and they are great.
I tried this fine recipe today. I failed. The apple slices were pliable when I took them from the cookie sheet. Are they supposed to be “stiff”?
Hey Judy! They are supposed to be somewhat stiff, but you may want to cook them longer if you want a more crisp chip. It could also be that the apple you used was larger. Hope that helps!
Slice core and all?
Hey Charlene. It is just a matter of preference. Some people cut out the core and other like the added texture. Hope that helps!
Wonder if it would work in a food dehydrator?
Hey Aimee! We have not tried it with a dehydrator, but let us know how it goes if you end up wanting to experiment. Thanks!
Dried fruits of all kinds
I’ve tried them and were amazing!
Got to try this treat! Yummy! Can these go into a dehydrator?
Hey Loretta! We have not tried the recipe using a dehydrator, but go ahead and try it and let us know how it turns out!
