This complex mix of essential oils elevates every note for a sweet, citrusy aroma with floral and minty undertones. Let’s take a deeper look at each of the botanicals we chose for this blend:
Lemon myrtle: Native to Australia and known as the “queen of lemon herbs,” lemon myrtle has an uplifting, refreshing aroma.
Lemon: Fresh, ripe lemons are grown on the Amanzi Amahle Cooperative Farm in South Africa. The rinds are cold pressed to obtain bright and joyful Lemon essential oil.
Ylang ylang: Grown and distilled at Young Living’s Finca Botanica Farm and Distillery in Chongon, Ecuador, ylang ylang has a comforting, floral aroma. Ylang Ylang essential oil can be used to moisturize and support the appearance of healthy skin.
Spearmint: Distilled at the Labbeemint Partner Distillery in Washington, USA, spearmint has a refreshing aroma, and the essential oil has a cooling sensation on skin.
Eucalyptus globulus: Native to China, eucalyptus globulus has a cool, invigorating aroma.
How will you use Lushious Lemon?
Just like our original Lemon essential oil, the Lushious Lemon blend is incredibly versatile and ready to be incorporated into your daily life. Try some of our favorite uses for this bright and fresh blend.
Body scrub
Ingredients:
- 1 cup salt
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 8–10 drops Lushious Lemon essential oil blend
Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Gently buff the body scrub on skin during your shower. Rinse off. Store in an airtight jar for up to 2–3 months.
YL tip: To help your scrub stay fresh and last longer, do not let any water mix into the product while you use it. Scoop product out with clean, dry hands.
Carpet refresher
Refresh your carpet with baking soda and the fresh aroma of Lushious Lemon. Fill an empty 2-ounce glass salt shaker ¾ full with baking soda. Add 10–15 drops of Lushious Lemon and shake until the baking soda and essential oil have mixed. Sprinkle the mixture on your carpet and let sit for 15–20 minutes before vacuuming.
