Exfoliate
Your skin is constantly working to regenerate. As this process happens, dead skin cells move to the surface. Buildup of dead skin cells can dull your complexion and suck up the moisture and benefits from your skin care products. As you get older, this process slows, increasing buildup.
That’s where exfoliation comes in. Using a gentle exfoliator one to three times a week removes dead skin, helping your inner beauty shine through. Pay attention to how your skin reacts, though, since over-exfoliation can irritate the skin and cause reddening—you know your skin best!

Love this! I’m just now starting to delve into using products other than oils. I have the ART Moisturizer and love it so much. I also put either Lemon Vitality, Lime Vitality, or Grapefruit Vitality oils in my water every day! So yummy!
I use Frankincense every day right out of the shower on my face and before I go to bed after I wash my face. I feel extremely grounded and refreshed!

For me, simple works best! In the morning I skip the soap and use only water to “wash” my face. That one little change has made a huge positive impact to my skin!
I like geranium and frankincense with jojoba oil to help moisturize my skin.

Two tips…
First, evaluate your diet. Everyone reacts to foods differently. For me the culprit was dairy. The moment I decided to take the plunge and give it up my skin started to glow. Second, is experiment by adding different essential oils to your nightly routine. My personal EO gem is Gentle Baby. After cleansing my face at night I add 1 drop of Gentle Baby to a quarter size amount of sweet almond oil and slather it all over my face and neck.
Never go to bed with makeup on!
I am sure to use a good cleansing product every day, when I get up in the morning and when I prepare for bedtime in the evening.
Staying out of the sun helps keep my skin “beautiful” :)

A friend introduced me to a “glowy skin serum” that I apply daily, and is so simple to put together. Just tea tree, purification, lemon, orange, and some frankincense!
Besides exfoliating, daily moisturizing, and protecting my pale/freckled skin from the sun’s harsh rays, my mother always told me to never touch or pick at my skin. There is a lot of germy nastiness in the world and you don’t want it on your face, in your eyes, or absorbed into your body if possible! I love satin mint scrub as part of my main skin care routine
I love Manuka as part of my skin care regime! I add a few drops to my favorite moisturizers along with Frankincense.
We LOVE coconut oil at my house! I use it to wash my face and/or moisturizer after showering. I now add a few drops of YL essential oils to enhance the experience. :)
