Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

I would add in Rose with a touch of Patchouli
I plan on making the lavish body butter for my elbows. They seem to be so dry and I have yet to find a lotion that really moisturizes them. I plan on using a combination of Cedarwood and Lavender. Cedarwood because I absolutely love it and Lavender because it is an excellent oil for skin support.
birch sweet and frankincense
I would love to make this with Rose, Geranium, and Frankincense!
I would try a body butter with Release essential oil blend. It really smells good and is good for releasing tension and negative emotions at the end of the day.
I think I will try the Young Living Melrose blend. Thanks for the recipe!
I would add peace and Calming and use it on my kids at night!!
I love the cedarwood, frakincense, and the lavender but also i add 5 drops of the lemon to help brighten my skin. These Young Living essential oils leaves my skin so soft and supple and the fragrance is heavenly!
