Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Great recipe! My body butter mixture would be Lavender, Tea Tree, Patchouli, Frankincense and Orange. Delightful smell and soothing!
How wonderful, thank you for that easy recipe. I am planning a Make&Take Party right now and use normally a lot of Coconut oil that I mix with Avocado oil and skin related Essential oils. Wonderful.
I could imagine to use it with "the girls scents" like Jasmine, Geranium, frankincense maybe a drop of Manuka or carrot seed. Or lavender, cedarwood frankincense and myrrh. Hmmm, I will experiment here, how fun. Thank you!
I would try adding Helichrysum!
I love this recipe and use it every morning and night. I use Frankincense, myrrh, and copaiba essential oils. All wonderful
I'm really loving the lime bergamot combo. Refreshingly clean smell for after the shower and to get the day going.
Why not try some Panyaway
I would make it plain and then add whatever oil I fancied at the time to some of the cream in my hands when I put it on.
I will make this with Lavender :)
Abundance- to have an abundance of energy to start the day.
Sensation or Awaken Would be amazing oils to add in!! Can't wait to make this😊
