Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

What a great giveaway! Fingers crossed on this one!!!
I'm going to have to make this.
love to learn about young living oils
I plan to use stress away and lavender in this recipe. I will be giving this vacation in a bottle, lotion to my family members for Christmas!
Lemon, Lavender and Lime!
I love peppermint and rosemary in my body butter. It is so rejuvenating when I apply it to the soles of my feet after a long day in heels!
Lavender, Frankincense and Melrose are what I use in my body butter. I think Bergamot would be great too...have to try that next time :)
I can't wait to make this fabulous butter. So many oils to choose from!! I think I will start with Egyptian Gold. I just love that mixture of oils.
I'm excited to try this recipe! I think citrus oils/blends would smell amazingand be an uplifting way to start the day! Maybe Bergamot, Citrus Fresh, or Grapefruit.
Geranium is my choice. Love the scent and it is great for supporting the skin
