Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

I would've use my favorite trio: lavender, lemon and peppermint.
Sandalwood, lavender and frankincense would be a great combination
Will try geranium or Stress Away in my body butter.
I would do Frankinsence or lemongrass or peace and calming
Stress away and lavender.
Peace & Calming would have to be one but for a more uplifting one maybe lime or citrus fresh, I would like lavender and frankincense. I could go on!!!
I would love to use frankincense, lavender and copaiba
I would add frankenscense, geranium, and orange, and rose oil's.
In the summer I would add peppermint, lemon and lavender to feel a crisp, cool and refreshing feeling before bedtime. Adding wintergreen, copaiba and helichrysum will get you cozy and soothe sore muscles before ending your day on cold nights.
I love Lavender, Frank and Cedarwood. That combo is exactly what I have mixed with distilled water and vodka to out in my hair after I shower. It helps with tangles and they have ggreat benefits as you know for hair and scalp. Another blend that would be good is royal hawaiin sandlewood and rose if I am ever able to afford them. One day!!! Lastly, another awesome blend would be ylang ylang, vetiver and bergamot to use before an intimate night with your significant other. ;)
