Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

I love to add a little tea tree, Frankincense and lavender.
I would add rosemary to lavender. Another option would be peppermint and rosemary.
I think, I'm going to try a mix of Rosemary and Lemongrass body butter. I hope it turns out as wonderful as I'm envisioning.
I can think of a bunch of different batches with different scent profiles to make: fruity, floral, woodsy
I want to make a batch with Joy or Stress Away!
Geranium essential oil smells lovely upon the skin. I think I choose to add Geranium to the Organic Body Butter. The combination of coconut oil and cacao butter will be very good for the skin. Thank you for the recipe!
I am going to use some of my favorites 10 drops of Young Living Sensation Essential oil blend with 4 drops of Ylang Ylang and I will add one drop of Jasmine. I cannot wait to try this. Thank you for posting the recipe!!!
One with Frankincense and Lavender and another with White Angelica.
I'd use orange or jasmine.
I would use Lavender essential oil. 😊
I am absolutely making this! I would use lavender, frankincense or tea tree!
