Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Ooooh this sounds heavenly- totally going to whip a batch up! This would make lovely gifts for Christmas too. I may try a more fall/winter scent...maybe something like patchouli, cedarwood, and bergamot. Or something with nutmug.
I like white angelica! It smells like perfume to me!! Thanks for the giveaway contest!
Oh love this recipe, thanks for sharing. I will be doing one batch with peace and calming and then another with my favorite fall blend of orange, cinnamon bark and frankinscense. Thanks for these great ideas.
I would use frankincense in my body Butter because it's good for skin support and orange because I love the smell!
I would use Lavender for sure. I like using peppermint in my sugar scrub. Can't wait to whip this up & try it out!
This looks fantastic! My oil of choice would be Grapefruit because it smells great.
Jasmine!
I am going to try this with Lime and make a Coconut Lime Body Butter. I love coconut and lime together it always smells so clean and fresh.
Lavender!
Frankincense and orange oil would be a great combination. Or my favorite oil Joy and Ylang Ylang together would smell heavenly.
