Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Great recipe! I would make 2 batches. One with peppermint for use in the morning and one with lavender that I would use at night!
I am thinking I would have to make mine with Stress Away. I love the way it smells and the way it makes me feel, so it would have to be my EO of choice.
Looks good.
As a guy I like the scent of Northern Lights Black Spruce and Frankincense. I would try that!
I would use Rosemary and Peppermint with coconut oil and sweet almond oil
I would use lavender and frankincense in my homemade body butter. Frankincense is wonderful for your skin and the lavender smells heavenly!
I would definitely use frankincense and lavender because they are both so great for the skin. I might try a little lemongrass for a refreshing twist!
I think I will try this recipe out with Lavender and Lemon EO's. They smell wonderful!
