Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

My choices would be Cedarwood, Lavender, Frankincense and Lemon ..
I would just add Stress Away. Love the smell of it and that blend would help me stayed grounded all day!
I really want to try Manuka in a skincare product. But I do like the scent of lavender.
Manuka, Lavender, Carrot Seed, and Geranium are the oils I would use in this body butter.
I love using Stress Away in whipped body butter with cocoa butter as an ingredient! It's a vacation in a bottle.
Lavender/Geranium blends nicely for a floral. Yet, a blend of Peppermint and Rosemary can be very invigorating in the morning. Sacred Mountain is awesome for the men in the house.
I'm going to use Geranium Lavender and Frankincense in mine! Might even include Ylang Ylang!
The possibilities are endless . . . I would definitely use Lavender and Frankincense in one. Peace and Calming in another and Jasmine in another
I think I would go with Lime and Stress Away for a tropical feel with the coconut!!
Living in Michigan our winters are long, cold and dry....I'll use this amazing butter while damp after a shower to soften, add moisture and hydration to keep the largest organ in the body healthy and nurtured with all the benefits of Young Living Essential Oils!!
