Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Can't wait to try this body butter! I'll definitely be using White Angelica!
Shutran blend!
Uuuu! LOVELY! I´M GOING TO TRY THIS ONE! I used a bit different recipe with Gentle Baby, valor & Frankincense or Gentle Baby , Lavender, Myrrh
I love the smell of Shutran...so I will try that in my body butter!
I think Frankincense and Myrrh would be great choices for this recipe.
I cant wait to make this body butter! I'll be using White Angelica for sure!
I make Lavender body lotion before but I did not whip it I will be trying this soon I give homemade Christmas gifts infused with essential oils and this will be perfect. Lavender and Lemon Lip Balm is great too made with bee's wax. I just love Young Living Essential Oils Lavender and Cedarwood and Frankincense oil are my favorites.
I never thought to try Frankincense in a body butter. Can't wait to try.
I would love to try this with lavender, and maybe some Ylang Ylang. :)
