Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Thank you for sharing look forward to trying this out.
I made this but also added shea butter and then peppermint. It's a great winter smell!
I would use Frank, Cedarwood and a little Stressaway!!!
Those are my absolute Favorites!
Dena
I would use Geranium, I put in my lotion bars too!
Patchouli is one of my favorites to add. I also like to use carrot seed.
Ylang ylang would smell nice!
My daughter and I made Sugar scrubs for gifts this year at Christmas. We made a Honey Orange Sugar scrubs with organic raw sugar, organic olive oil, raw natural honey and YL Orange Essential oil.. we also did a Lavender scrub with all organic natural ingredients to include YL EO, and a Eucalyptus Foot scrub.. oh I almost forgot cranberry & YL Orange EO..yummy we printed labels for the jars listing the ingredients too.. everyone loved their gifts ❤
I would enjoy adding Rose oil for a classic scent.
Lemon is amazing in body butter & invigorating!
Peace and calming! This way it's a win for kids and adults 🙌🏻.
