Be kind to your hard-working skin! This homemade body butter recipe will leave your skin moisturized and soft, thanks to rich cocoa butter and coconut oil. We love its whipped consistency that goes on smoothly and feels light to the touch.
Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients
1 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (do not use lotion)
15 drops of your favorite topical/aromatic essential oil (we love Cedarwood, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils)
Directions
Warm a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add coconut oil and cocoa butter. Melt until completely liquefied, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to cool and just set but not harden.
Stir in essential oils.
Using an electric hand mixer, whip until firm peaks form, about 10 minutes.
Gently transfer to a seal-able jar or container. Store at room temperature to avoid melting or solidifying.
Massage into dry skin!

Ylang Ylang + Citrus combined - calming. Might even add some Valor for added support.
I would add Joy, have been adding it to my current almond oil moisturizer and I love the all day light floral smell!
I think I am going to try stress away! After a long hard day teaching I come home and change clothes an I could use some body butter with the awesome smell of stress away!
I'm fairly new to essential oils. My favorite oil so far is grapefruit. I would love to try a body butter with grapefruit, lemon, lavender, and peppermint! Very refreshing smell to start off the day.
I would make a body butter with Patchouli. I love the fragrance and it lingers on my skin a lot longer than anything else I have used. It's my go to fragrance.
I would use Clove, Orange and Cinnamon....true fall scents!
Geranium/cedarwood - makes a lovely, fresh scent and supports the skin!
Lavender would be wonderful as well as stress away
I would add lavender and lemongrass. I looove that combination right now!
Hmm, maybe Thieves and orange for the winter season!
