Some days your skies are clear, blue, and beautiful—and some days your picnic plans are interrupted with an unexpected storm warning. But don’t worry! Ruined plans can be a bummer, but the sun will come out again soon. In the meantime, try one of these essential oil blends that will remind you of getting a great, big hug!
SARA: a hug for comfort
SARA™ is a sweet blend of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Rose. Think of SARA as a big sister, ready to wrap you up in a quilt, hand you a cup of cocoa, and comfort you with compassion. Try rubbing a drop of this blend onto your wrists when you feel like you could use a listening ear. Dilute it with a few drops of a carrier oil to keep your skin happy.
Present Time: a hug for gratitude
If you have way too many alarms set on your phone, an ever-growing to-do list, or a pile of dirty dishes that keeps doubling in size, you might want to reach for Present Time™. Diffuse this delicate scent as you take a minute to reconnect with the present and let go of the expectations you have for yourself. Once you feel calmer, consider doing those dishes before the leftovers grow legs!
Release: a hug for liberation
Ready to let go of some of the “nope” from your day? Throw on some jams, roll out your yoga mat, and diffuse Release™. After stretching out and focusing on your breathing, you might just feel like saying, “Heck yes!” instead.
Grounding: a hug from Mother Nature
Sometimes all we need is a little nature. Even if you can’t get outside, you can connect with your roots by taking a tech detox for a few hours while diffusing Grounding™. This blend of White Fir, Black Spruce, and Pine combines into a forest-inspired aroma. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the great outdoors as you enjoy some quiet time.
Hope: a hug for optimism
Looking for some sunshine? Try a little Hope™. While it can’t really change the weather, it might just be the bright spot on a dark day. This gentle blend can be added to a favorite lotion, diffused, or applied topically.
Peace & Calming: a hug for calm
Couldn’t we all use a little more Peace & Calming® in our lives? This gentle blend is one of our most popular essential oil blends, and for good reason! Whether you need a bear hug or are trying to settle in for a night’s hibernation, diffusing this scent adds a special something to the end of a long day.
Gathering: a hug for connection
It can be hard to gather your thoughts after a long day. Or gather your family for dinner. Or gather strength to keep up on your goals. Sound familiar? Try diffusing Gathering™ as you turn daily chaos into calmness by journaling, meditating, or writing an award-worthy to-do list.
Looking for more blends? Check out these calming blends or the benefits of Copaiba oil.
Joy is my happy oil I use to bring me peace and calm. valor is becoming my favorite very quickly
Definitely need that Valor sounds amazing!!!!
Valor is amazing! I use Joy every morning to start my day!
When our almost 18-year-old Shih Tzu gets restless at night I put one drop of Peace and Calming on each of her front foot pads and she starts to calm down, stops her wandering and drifts off in a peaceful sleep on her blanket, even snoring her way to Dreamland!
Also our nine year old granddaughter is under some daily stress at school and at home. She now has her own bottle of Peace and Calming and uses it at home according to my directions. She tells me that she does feel calmer with just two drops on the bottom of each foot. And she likes the aroma of it as well. P&C works for children and pets as well as adults. I know I certainly am glad to have it handy for myself also.
I love either Peace & Calming or Joy when I’ve had a tough day.
I wish I was in Utah right now, but Sacred Mountain will have to do!
Love Valor and would love to try the others.
The only one of these I have is Valor so I’d love to win the others and be able to try them!
I use Release to unwind at the end of a tough day.
I’m not seeing a list of winners either. I’ve looked every where. Can you post a link to it or something. I’ve read all the comments and still can not find. Sorry new to this.
Hello Kim. The winners are not in the comments, but in the actual post under the Giveaway Rules section. Hope that helps! Thanks!
I have seen lots of posts asking about the winners and can’t find them either. I have found the giveaway section of this post (directly after the info on Hope) but there are no winners posted. The winners were to be posted on Wed and today is Sunday so it should be there. I even went searching for another blog post dated Wed July 26 (in case it was posted on the Wed blog) but there isn’t one that I could find. I don’t understand why it is so hard to lookup who has won. If someone on my downline has won, I would like to congratulate them. If anyone out there has found this info…could you please copy it into a reply to this post? Thanks a lot.
Thank you for posting the winners. It is a great prize and I am happy for them to win such lovely oils!!!
I’m going to try out the Release to see if it helps with my current situation. Also, is there a difference between Sage and Clary Sage oil? And finally, are there ANY Young Living reps in Kona, HI?
Hello! Sage emits a strong, spicy, clarifying, and uplifting aroma when diffused. It has been used traditionally for its clarifying properties. Clary Sage has an herbaceous aroma that is believed to create a calm and relaxing environment. These oils also have different constituents. Thanks for stopping by!
I hope its not my browser or my computer but I’m not able to see the winner’s under the giveaway rules. :( Could you announce the winners again please? I’ve read the previous comments and I’ve checked several times on the blog post under the giveaway rules.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this. I greatly appreciate it!

I am sorry, but one should not have to keep asking for the list of the winners for this post. The winners names are not listed on this page, at the end of the giveaway terms section, nor were they posted on the YL FB page where the post was made on this. One should be able to easily find the winners and apparently, based on how many keep asking, those names do not appear anywhere. PLEASE post the winners names. Thank you.
Hello Debbie. Sorry for any confusion. The winners were posted under the Giveaway Rules at the bottom of the post and the designated date. We believe that some people may have bookmarked the post or didn’t reload the it when they tried to see if they won. The winners are stated below:

Me neither
Young Living, I’m not seeing anything listed at the bottom of the giveaway section.
It just so happens that I have had one of those days. It was meant for me to read this blog. I had already put ylang ylang on my next order and now I want to add valor. I need some pick me up.
I love Valor, peace & calming, joy, orange and bergamot.
I love using lavender for peace and comfort!
I haven’t used any of the blends other than stress away and Panaway yet, so I am looking forward to trying a few of these. What a great resource!
Valor is the only one I’ve tried from this list. It’s amazing. I love it. I’m looking forward to trying the others.
My family and I all LOVE diffusing Stress Away and lime essential oils together in our home. It’s a soothing and fresh scent that is nice for either after a long day of working outside, or welcoming guests over for a visit. We love it’s versatility and how calming it is! I would love to try Gathering or any of the other oils as well!
These sound wonderful. I will try one or two on my next order
I have yet to try any of these oils but they sound like they are great emotional supporters!
Thank you for offering this information
I haven’t tried any of these oils yet, but am receiving Valor in my ER order. For calming, I currently use Stress Away. Looking forward to trying one of these!
I’d love some sacred mountain today. I’ll use my valor!
I’d love some sacred mountain today!
This couldnt have come at a better time! It has been a rough week, I literally had to walk outside and take a quick break at work today just to cry. I plan to order release, hope, angelica and valor today!
oh man! Sad to have missed this.. this is one of THOSE weeks where I turn to tranquil.. and stress away.. which are always in my purse!!
Just love all the oils. How can I possibly pick my favorites. Stress Away, Pan Away, Rosemary, especially to rub in my hands after a day of crocheting and/or knitting. Eucalyptus in the diffuser at night… SILENCES my hubby LOUD snoring. I could go on and on. THANKS to the “oil” family!!!!
Love Love LOVE Stress Away! It is my go to oil. I also like to wear it as perfume. On occasion I will combine it with a little bit of Joy oil as well. The combo is very up lifting!
I love, love Valor! When I’m needing a confidence boost, I readily turn to Valor. Haven’t yet tried the other oils listed in the blog entry, but I hope to soon.
I would love to try Valor, I have heard so many great things about it!
