Some days your skies are clear, blue, and beautiful—and some days your picnic plans are interrupted with an unexpected storm warning. But don’t worry! Ruined plans can be a bummer, but the sun will come out again soon. In the meantime, try one of these essential oil blends that will remind you of getting a great, big hug!
SARA: a hug for comfort
SARA™ is a sweet blend of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Rose. Think of SARA as a big sister, ready to wrap you up in a quilt, hand you a cup of cocoa, and comfort you with compassion. Try rubbing a drop of this blend onto your wrists when you feel like you could use a listening ear. Dilute it with a few drops of a carrier oil to keep your skin happy.
Present Time: a hug for gratitude
If you have way too many alarms set on your phone, an ever-growing to-do list, or a pile of dirty dishes that keeps doubling in size, you might want to reach for Present Time™. Diffuse this delicate scent as you take a minute to reconnect with the present and let go of the expectations you have for yourself. Once you feel calmer, consider doing those dishes before the leftovers grow legs!
Release: a hug for liberation
Ready to let go of some of the “nope” from your day? Throw on some jams, roll out your yoga mat, and diffuse Release™. After stretching out and focusing on your breathing, you might just feel like saying, “Heck yes!” instead.
Grounding: a hug from Mother Nature
Sometimes all we need is a little nature. Even if you can’t get outside, you can connect with your roots by taking a tech detox for a few hours while diffusing Grounding™. This blend of White Fir, Black Spruce, and Pine combines into a forest-inspired aroma. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the great outdoors as you enjoy some quiet time.
Hope: a hug for optimism
Looking for some sunshine? Try a little Hope™. While it can’t really change the weather, it might just be the bright spot on a dark day. This gentle blend can be added to a favorite lotion, diffused, or applied topically.
Peace & Calming: a hug for calm
Couldn’t we all use a little more Peace & Calming® in our lives? This gentle blend is one of our most popular essential oil blends, and for good reason! Whether you need a bear hug or are trying to settle in for a night’s hibernation, diffusing this scent adds a special something to the end of a long day.
Gathering: a hug for connection
It can be hard to gather your thoughts after a long day. Or gather your family for dinner. Or gather strength to keep up on your goals. Sound familiar? Try diffusing Gathering™ as you turn daily chaos into calmness by journaling, meditating, or writing an award-worthy to-do list.

I have been wanting to try Valor, but still yet to try it! Thank your for the opportunity to win!
I would love to try the ones you are giving away! I am a Therapist so the bravest I have gotten with essential oils is lavender diffusing in my office! I’d love to give these others a try with my clients (and myself!!)
Valor is an oil that I honestly can’t go a day without. (I could, but I don’t ever want to again). <3 It's my love! I would LOVE to have the entire feelings kit <3
A few of these are in my wish list!! I’m new to young living but I’m loving it already! I’d be thrilled to add any of these to my meager collection
These essential oils are described with such grace. It’s comforting to know the properties each oil offers for particular seasons in our lives. I enjoy many oils for helping me overcome stresses at different times of my day. A few of my favorites are Sacred Frankincense, Lavender and Myrrh. The aroma is uplifting and gives me clarity and peace. I also like to use Cypress, Myrtle and Hyssop. Valor II has the sweet courageous scent I long for, sometimes, as well.
Valor and Hope have been very helpful to me when I feel down. I am very grateful to have them in my tool belt! ❤ Now I will look forward to trying a few new ones! 😊
This is so exciting! Young Living oils and the community with it have forever changed my life for the better! Thank you for all you do and continue to do! Still so much to learn but so excited to do it! I love stress away, copiaba, cedar wood, lavender and purification.
I’m new to YL and have only tried one of these… Valor! I love Stress Away! 💗
I love using stress away but look forward to finding more oils to help with peace and comfort.
How peculiar. I was just sitting in my room thinking about my relationships. I’ve been calling several friends to catch up but only one has made the time to call me back. I feel like I value these connections more than they do – and that’s an awful feeling. This link was just shared by my friend and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thanks YL.
My favorite oils for peace are combinations of Orange, stress away, peace & calming, and lavender.

Stress Away and Peace and Calming along with Lavender are my go to’s!
Only recently started using Release – but I’m a big fan of Peace and Calming or Abundance or Joy mixed with Northern Lights Black Spruce when I’m needing emotional support.
thanks for the valueable information!
I have taken to carrying Valor with me everywhere lately – so glad it has been reformulated and re-released! And my teenage son has had so much success with his AFT blend, that I borrowed it at lunch today for my totally overwhelming afternoon. Just love it! I need to add some of these oils to my arsenal!
I love sacred Mountai!!
My favorite so far is frankincense. It’s the perfect multi tasked. I would absolutely love to try some of these oils, as I don’t own them yet and am really big on the notional oils.
I need all of these hugs.
Some of my favorite comfort/calming oils are valor, peace & calming, stress away, grounding and vetiver. I would love to try some of the others mentioned in this article!

I love Hope because of the Melissa oil in it!
I love Valor! It was my very first oil testimony! It’s great when you are facing something that you need courage – it’s my courage in a bottle. Mixed with Joy…oh my!!

Rerelease is currently my jam!! Love this oil so much. I’ve been struggling with a toxic relationship with my mother, so I reached out to some of my cross line for suggestions and this one came up the most. This oil has given me my daily ambition back and I couldn’t be more thankful!!
Can’t wait to try these amazing blends!!

I love these tips on when and how to use these oils. Thanks for sharing. Believe and forgiveness are 2 of my favorites right now.
My new favorite oil combo to diffuse to combat stress is patchouli, clary sage and bergamot. It’s delightful (and I typically hate patchouli).
I use Gratitude daily to help to remind me No matter what comes my way I have much to be Grateful for
Valor is my absolute favorite blend! So uplifting when I’m feeling blue!
I so appreciate all the work that Gary Young at the rest have done to provide us with Valor again. Anytime I open any Young Living bottle I receive a hug and am so very up lifted, having said that I would be excited to win these specific oils!
My favorite oils for peace and comfort are Frankincense, Peace and Calming and Cedarwood and my favorite uplifting oil is Orange.
With two young kids at home sometimes you can get a little emotional, but these oils would help in those hard times
The past week has been especially challenging as my husband had a heart attack last Tuesday–hours after I’d had my first job interview in years! I’ve used a lot of my own “sanity” blend since then and diffused a lot of valor while trying to be there for my husband as well as meet the needs of our 5 children.
