Some days your skies are clear, blue, and beautiful—and some days your picnic plans are interrupted with an unexpected storm warning. But don’t worry! Ruined plans can be a bummer, but the sun will come out again soon. In the meantime, try one of these essential oil blends that will remind you of getting a great, big hug!
SARA: a hug for comfort
SARA™ is a sweet blend of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Rose. Think of SARA as a big sister, ready to wrap you up in a quilt, hand you a cup of cocoa, and comfort you with compassion. Try rubbing a drop of this blend onto your wrists when you feel like you could use a listening ear. Dilute it with a few drops of a carrier oil to keep your skin happy.
Present Time: a hug for gratitude
If you have way too many alarms set on your phone, an ever-growing to-do list, or a pile of dirty dishes that keeps doubling in size, you might want to reach for Present Time™. Diffuse this delicate scent as you take a minute to reconnect with the present and let go of the expectations you have for yourself. Once you feel calmer, consider doing those dishes before the leftovers grow legs!
Release: a hug for liberation
Ready to let go of some of the “nope” from your day? Throw on some jams, roll out your yoga mat, and diffuse Release™. After stretching out and focusing on your breathing, you might just feel like saying, “Heck yes!” instead.
Grounding: a hug from Mother Nature
Sometimes all we need is a little nature. Even if you can’t get outside, you can connect with your roots by taking a tech detox for a few hours while diffusing Grounding™. This blend of White Fir, Black Spruce, and Pine combines into a forest-inspired aroma. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the great outdoors as you enjoy some quiet time.
Hope: a hug for optimism
Looking for some sunshine? Try a little Hope™. While it can’t really change the weather, it might just be the bright spot on a dark day. This gentle blend can be added to a favorite lotion, diffused, or applied topically.
Peace & Calming: a hug for calm
Couldn’t we all use a little more Peace & Calming® in our lives? This gentle blend is one of our most popular essential oil blends, and for good reason! Whether you need a bear hug or are trying to settle in for a night’s hibernation, diffusing this scent adds a special something to the end of a long day.
Gathering: a hug for connection
It can be hard to gather your thoughts after a long day. Or gather your family for dinner. Or gather strength to keep up on your goals. Sound familiar? Try diffusing Gathering™ as you turn daily chaos into calmness by journaling, meditating, or writing an award-worthy to-do list.

New to the “family” but love every bottle I’ve touched!! ;)
I thought I commented but it disappeared (I’m new to “Disqus”). But Sacred Mountain is my absolute favorite. It quiets my wandering thoughts as I try to fall asleep. I can feel my thoughts slow, getting harder to focus on even if I try, and then I’m fast asleep. I can’t deal without this one.
My current oil for peace & comfort is frankincense :) I love Envision too.
Joy, Valor, Stress Away, and Peace and Calming are my emotional go-tos. Joy and Stress Away are part of my morning routine to stay proactive and bring on a great day.
Haven’t tried Hope or Present time yet. I enjoy using white angelica and release
Ooh…Sacred Mountain for a hug from Mother Nature! ❤️
I love Valor at the base of the neck.
Oh my, thank you for this post and summary of thee amazing oils. Time to crack open a couple of these for some good hugs :) and now to add hope to my order list!

I was given a few drops of Gathering at Convention this year while standing in line waiting to pick up an order. Loved it! I can’t stop thinking about it. I think my body is telling me to put it on my next ER order.
I love Joy right now. It makes me calm, confident and strees free. I love to wear it as a perfume behind the ears. Uplifting and fresh!
Love the scent of Sacred Mountain – it’s on my wish list!!
I love valor, northern lights black Spruce, and sacred mountain
Valor is my family’s favorite. We can’t go without it. Would also love to try release
Stress Away. Peace and Calming. And Lavender!!
Sacred Mountain and Gathering are two of my favorites!
I love stress away and believe. Give me courage and peace.
Love Valor!!!
Overwhelming times call for StressAway! I use it daily. I love Valor to give me the courage to step out of my comfort zone, but, who doesn’t love Valor? Oils are what we use in our household instead of other remedies because they work without all the untoward effects. Abundance is one of our favorites! We apply it topically, diffuse it and have been known to annoint the mailbox a time or two! Oils are a staple in our house!
I am fairly new though I have found that I really enjoy peppermint and also En r gee too.
I love all of those oils!!!
I would love to win! The only oil from this group that I have is Valor….I seriously need to start getting the rest! I need some grounding and uplifting!
I love peace and calming. It has saved me in rush hour traffic multiple times!
I have found a new comforting diffuser blend in eucalyptus radiata, frankincense and ylang ylang… it makes u feel like your walking around in a big hug 🤗
I love Valor!
Valor is new for me and I love the smell. Could easily use as a perfume ;) LOVE these ideas for timing and scent connections! Will have to give them a try ♡
We all need a hug!
LOVE Valor!
Frank with lavender has worked best so far. Looking forward to trying some of the ones listed!
Haven’t tried many, but I like panaway!
I can not wait to try Valor!! I absolutely love Frankincense and Lavender!
My morning combo is Sacred Frankincense inhaled deeply and a drop on my heart, White Angelica on my heart/ears/forehead/back of neck and inhaled, and Joy on my wrists. I can truly tell a dramatic difference if I miss a couple days of this little trio! Keeps me happy, grounded, and positive no matter what comes my way! :-)
I have release on my next monthly order and valor is my absolute favorite oil currently!
Just got my first bottle of valor on my last ER order. I’m so mad at myself for not getting it earlier! It smells heavenly and I always feel like I can take on anything afterward!
Valor and Release are my favorites!
I love Valor, Release and Present Time very much!!! I use them quite often when I need an oily hug =) Would love to have the other oils in Mexico, maybe I can´t be part of the contest, but I wanted to share also.
I know it’s formulated for animals, but we love T-Away. It’s a super calming oil. We also love Lavender and Bergamot.
I love using Sacred Mountain when I know it’s going to be a rough day at work. I work with doctors and breast cancer patients on a daily basis. Tomorrow will be one of those days, and I know I will put on my YL diffuser cylinder necklace with Sacred Mountain so I’m able to smell it throughout procedures we are doing.
Peace and calming has done wonders for my anxiety and is one of my favorites for sleep!
I am an energy fan have been wanting to try Sacred Mountain! Thanks!
Love Hope & Valor. Powerful stuff!
YL is seriously the most generous company! I soooo need a hug!
Joy, Orange and grapefruit or Grounding and Stress Away!
Valor is one of my favorite oils! It’s helps in grounding me, gives me confidence, and is the number one oil I use in my raindrop technique. Highest potential is another favorite of mine, it helps me in my tasks to feel like I can accomplish them.
I love Sacred Mountain!
Frankincense and Lavender bring me to a happy place 😊
Personally, adding valor to my oil collection was an amazing addition. I don’t have it on a daily regimen as suggested, but I love diffusing it before a big meeting or presentation or anything that’s giving me a bit of anxiety. Plus, then I wear it one my nape diffuser necklace to the actual event.
I love vetiver and release for grounding. I would love to experience these other oils!
I love Valor to help tackle the day.
I would love, love to try Release as I have trouble “letting go.” I am finding many favorites, and have not found any oils that compare to YL.
