Some days your skies are clear, blue, and beautiful—and some days your picnic plans are interrupted with an unexpected storm warning. But don’t worry! Ruined plans can be a bummer, but the sun will come out again soon. In the meantime, try one of these essential oil blends that will remind you of getting a great, big hug!
SARA: a hug for comfort
SARA™ is a sweet blend of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Rose. Think of SARA as a big sister, ready to wrap you up in a quilt, hand you a cup of cocoa, and comfort you with compassion. Try rubbing a drop of this blend onto your wrists when you feel like you could use a listening ear. Dilute it with a few drops of a carrier oil to keep your skin happy.
Present Time: a hug for gratitude
If you have way too many alarms set on your phone, an ever-growing to-do list, or a pile of dirty dishes that keeps doubling in size, you might want to reach for Present Time™. Diffuse this delicate scent as you take a minute to reconnect with the present and let go of the expectations you have for yourself. Once you feel calmer, consider doing those dishes before the leftovers grow legs!
Release: a hug for liberation
Ready to let go of some of the “nope” from your day? Throw on some jams, roll out your yoga mat, and diffuse Release™. After stretching out and focusing on your breathing, you might just feel like saying, “Heck yes!” instead.
Grounding: a hug from Mother Nature
Sometimes all we need is a little nature. Even if you can’t get outside, you can connect with your roots by taking a tech detox for a few hours while diffusing Grounding™. This blend of White Fir, Black Spruce, and Pine combines into a forest-inspired aroma. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the great outdoors as you enjoy some quiet time.
Hope: a hug for optimism
Looking for some sunshine? Try a little Hope™. While it can’t really change the weather, it might just be the bright spot on a dark day. This gentle blend can be added to a favorite lotion, diffused, or applied topically.
Peace & Calming: a hug for calm
Couldn’t we all use a little more Peace & Calming® in our lives? This gentle blend is one of our most popular essential oil blends, and for good reason! Whether you need a bear hug or are trying to settle in for a night’s hibernation, diffusing this scent adds a special something to the end of a long day.
Gathering: a hug for connection
It can be hard to gather your thoughts after a long day. Or gather your family for dinner. Or gather strength to keep up on your goals. Sound familiar? Try diffusing Gathering™ as you turn daily chaos into calmness by journaling, meditating, or writing an award-worthy to-do list.

I love Valor and Peace and Calming together! I diffuse this while I sleep! I sleep through the night!
Stress Away and Peace & Calming are my two favorites when I need a “hug!”
Valor has been an amazing support for myself and my daughter. It has quickly become my favorite oil blend from Young Living. I would love to diffuse Gathering for our home church on Sunday evenings.
I have been clinging to Valor and harmony the last couple of days. Frankincense added in, too, when I need to focus. I’m so grateful for my oils when I need a lift!!
I love that I can hug my oils and they can hub me back;) Just fell in love with Inner Child!
The last 4 nights I have used Valor to relax for bed. It has been wonderful! Great nights rest! I love peace and calming, peppermint and eucalyptus, and stress away as well! My husband uses the oils just as much as I do! Thanks Young Living!

I love Valor and use it every night with Lavender. I’m excited to learn more about the other oils you mentioned. Thanks for giving us such great information and great products!
I love stress away applied on the back of my neck and across my shoulders when I have had a stressful day and I can’t seem to release any of the negative feelings.
I have become a huge fan of Valor! I used it once for my anxiety ridden dog when I had run out of peace and Calming and was very surprised at how this oil made all of us feel! I also have Sacred Mountain, and was not aware that it could be used for some of the same things as White Angelica which has been out of stock for a while now, so I will be using Sacred Mtn more due to this information provided.
I have not tried Valor, Present Time or Sacred Mountain, what a fantastic giveaway! I would feel so blessed to win such a fantastic prize!
Harmony is one of my favorites to open chakras, and to support emotional and spiritual health. I like to apply 1-2 drops over the solar plexus (area just below center of your ribcage) and diffuse at night. Just learned its supposed to be good for cravings… I’ll have to keep some in my purse so I always have it available to inhale whenever needed!
Valor is one of my favorites. I have never tried the other two. So many oils…so little time…
Who doesn’t need a hug on a bad day? ❤️
Anything citrus, ylang ylang, sandalwood. xo
These all sound wonderful. The last few days I have been diffusing joy and spearmint. Love it!
I do use Valor to help instill that extra confidence! So happy to have Young Living in my life.
I use Peace and Calming when facing difficult days ahead…such as having my bathrooms
remodeled. My daughter uses it frequently as she is a busy mom with a 3 year old and a 10 month old. She say it keeps her feeling relaxed and uplifted.
I love using Peace and Calming anytime I am facing a difficult situation …like having my bathrooms remodeled ! My daughter uses it to diffuse as she is a busy mom with a 3 year old and a 10 month old…it lifts her spirits and makes her happy that she can depend on this oil to uplift her.

I’m kind of new to all of these blends. They sound fabulous!
Joy and Peppermint is one of my most favorite combinations to uplift and energize. I wear it in my diffuser necklace and it puts a smile on my heart every time I breathe it in.
I really like Stress Away, Joy and Peace & Calming. Lavender is another good one!
I need more {{Hugs}} from Young Living! I love my Valor!!

I apply Valor almost daily. I also

I want very badly to try highest potential and sacred mountain. I am at a crossroads in life right now and have been eyeing them up.
Each night between my husband & I, we use Valor, Peace & Calming and Stress Away. Can’t sleep without them. :-D Our family can’t live without YL!!
Valor has been my go to lately. My mind has been going mikes a minute with preparing to go back to work for the school year, the decision to homeschool my kids, and getting ready for a new baby. Yes, Valor hugs have been amazing and calming for me.
We had a very stressful move this summer, complete with plenty of chaotic events. The oil that helped my husband and me feel instantly better was “Peace & Calming”. We would first just open the bottle and inhale the aroma. Then apply to our heart area. I would also put it on my wrists as a perfume just to make me feel happy.
I have found that Brain Power is my go to for relaxing at night before bed, it smells AMAZING!!!!!
then its lavender, cedarwood and i rub Valor on wrists, jawline, back of neck, bottom of feet and bottom of big toe, bridge of nose and under nose to help with snoring…..(I kinda love Valor!!!! )
Ok. Valor is A-Mazing!! Sacred Mountain so very up lifting. Haven’t tried Present time but would love to! Thanks Young Living who’s better than you?

After 9 hours of travel, our landing was delayed due to weather and we had to circle an extra hour. I don’t enjoy flying so I always carry my oils and apply Valor over my heart to give me courage. Leaving my kids and grand kids on the west coast made me emotional and sad, so Joy went on my pulse points. When we finally landed, all of the food kiosk’s & restaurants were closed, so now we’re hungry; thank you Slique Bar’s for filling the void and Peppermint for relieving the pressure on my temples! We get to the gate only to find our flight is delayed for two more hours. Peace and Calming and Stress Away relaxed me and when we finally got home at 3 am, I diffused Lavender so we could get a restful night and hit the ground running at 7am. Thanks for the YL hugs that got us through a very long and stressful travel day!
Thank goodness I used Valor before hiking in Yellowstone National Park last week. My husband, myself and four others had to run from a startled bison on one trail. Then we conquered a moderately strenuous trail on the side of a mountain in heavy grizzly territory after that. I always have my Stress Away with me and had to use it while clinging to the rocks on that one. But without either I wouldn’t have even tried hiking, so thank you Young Living for helping me make some pretty awesome memories.
I LOVE lavender and cedarwood when I’m having trouble falling asleep. I also use Stress Away almost daily after hard days at work!
Diffusing Rosemary…Northern Lights…Cypress. ..it’s like a walk in the woods & is SO relaxing!
