Some days your skies are clear, blue, and beautiful—and some days your picnic plans are interrupted with an unexpected storm warning. But don’t worry! Ruined plans can be a bummer, but the sun will come out again soon. In the meantime, try one of these essential oil blends that will remind you of getting a great, big hug!
SARA: a hug for comfort
SARA™ is a sweet blend of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Rose. Think of SARA as a big sister, ready to wrap you up in a quilt, hand you a cup of cocoa, and comfort you with compassion. Try rubbing a drop of this blend onto your wrists when you feel like you could use a listening ear. Dilute it with a few drops of a carrier oil to keep your skin happy.
Present Time: a hug for gratitude
If you have way too many alarms set on your phone, an ever-growing to-do list, or a pile of dirty dishes that keeps doubling in size, you might want to reach for Present Time™. Diffuse this delicate scent as you take a minute to reconnect with the present and let go of the expectations you have for yourself. Once you feel calmer, consider doing those dishes before the leftovers grow legs!
Release: a hug for liberation
Ready to let go of some of the “nope” from your day? Throw on some jams, roll out your yoga mat, and diffuse Release™. After stretching out and focusing on your breathing, you might just feel like saying, “Heck yes!” instead.
Grounding: a hug from Mother Nature
Sometimes all we need is a little nature. Even if you can’t get outside, you can connect with your roots by taking a tech detox for a few hours while diffusing Grounding™. This blend of White Fir, Black Spruce, and Pine combines into a forest-inspired aroma. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the great outdoors as you enjoy some quiet time.
Hope: a hug for optimism
Looking for some sunshine? Try a little Hope™. While it can’t really change the weather, it might just be the bright spot on a dark day. This gentle blend can be added to a favorite lotion, diffused, or applied topically.
Peace & Calming: a hug for calm
Couldn’t we all use a little more Peace & Calming® in our lives? This gentle blend is one of our most popular essential oil blends, and for good reason! Whether you need a bear hug or are trying to settle in for a night’s hibernation, diffusing this scent adds a special something to the end of a long day.
Gathering: a hug for connection
It can be hard to gather your thoughts after a long day. Or gather your family for dinner. Or gather strength to keep up on your goals. Sound familiar? Try diffusing Gathering™ as you turn daily chaos into calmness by journaling, meditating, or writing an award-worthy to-do list.

I like Stress Away, White Angelica, and Lavendar, they have been the ones I have used recently and prior to that and still do love Joy.
I cant wait to try Release and Hope!!!
I often use Valor when I need a bit of courage, or have a stressful presentation or meeting at work. It gives me courage and a lift of confidence, and never lets me down!
Oh the wonder of essential oils!!
Thank you for these posts so we learn all we can about oils.
never tried sacred mountain, will have to order me some
I have used all of the essential oils except Release. Haven’t tried it yet. They are all marvelous. I have a 26 year old son who was 1.5 lbs. at birth. He has SO MANY disabilities, and is almost 100% blind. He has PAINFUL digestive diseases and can’t tell us he is in pain. So, we do the best we can. And we have to have mom with one son and dad with one son, so that the other son has a somewhat normal life when we can’t do things as a family (which happens a lot). But it is so heartbreaking and more than sad knowing all we do only helps somewhat. So I use these EOs to help with the grief and sadness we feel. Plus, in our family VALOR has proven to truly help decrease snoring in dear hubby! So grateful and blessed to be a part of Young Living Essential Oils!
My favorites I have to have are patchouli and Frankincense. I haven’t tried these others except Valor. I use that quite a bit when I can get it. I can’t be “normal” without my oils. I pray I win one. 🤗
I haven’t been able to buy anything lately, so winning this promotion would be very welcomed in my life right now!
I have been struggling with several issues that I know my oils could and would improve!
My husband has been diagnosed with end-stage COPD with no idea how much longer he possibley has left, anywhere from a few years to less.
I know if I could diffuse Valor in the house it would help all of us since our son Nicholas has had to move home again to help take care of things around here and his Dad.
Joy is my go-to when I’m feeling stress, but there are so many others I still need to try! <3
I’m still learning about oils and have only been with Young Living a few months. I just got Valor and am looking forward to using it, especially after this newsletter. I’d love to try the other oils mentioned as well.
I use Valor, Releas, Stress Away, Peace and Calming and Bergamot on a regular basis. I find that Bergamot naturally makes me feel good. I couldn’t even tell you why. I describe the oils as a cozy blanket for my nose. 😊

I love Stress Away and Valor!! I am going to try Scared Mountain!
The oil I use most often is Thieves. I diffuse it in my office when it’s cold & flu season. I have used it directly on tooth aches and my throat area when I feel I might be getting sick. Great multi-use oil!
I have used lavender for comfort. It always seems to relax me. I put it in a diffuser and let it sooth my problems away. Plus it calms the dog and my significant and whoever happens to visit me.
Love it! I use Valor regularly but would love to try some of these other oils!
I’m new to the oils so would love to try some stress reducers~ looking for suggestions!
Valor, StressAway, and Release have been most helpful to me. I love Young Living Essential Oils!
I haven’t used Valor, Sacred Mountain or Highest Potential yet. But I’ve heard lots of great and amazing things about them from friends. Of the oils and blends I do have, I really like Peace and Calming. I also like diffusing tea tree with lime and lemon. This created a relaxing and peaceful feeling. My friend liked it so much at a 101 class that she said she was going to diffuse that combo at home to help relax before bedtime.
Valor has become one of my favorites! I would love to try the others!!
