Experiment with your smoothies by adding any combination of these essential oils:
Does the peppermint hurt the plastic cup that I blend the smoothie in? I drink it within 30 minutes but I just wasn’t sure if it’s bad for the blender cup being that it’s plastic.
Hi Karen, Many essential oils are incompatible with plastic material. You may want to drink the water immediately as the oils will cause the plastic to breakdown. We feel that it is better to avoid adding essential oils to plastic contains whenever possible. Using a PETE or PP plastic bottle can help, but we recommend switching to glass or stainless steel if you would like to use the same bottle for extended periods of time. Thanks for stopping by!
I love using 4 ounces of Ningxia Red, 1 packet of the Slique Protein Shake. 1 scoop of the chocolate Protein mix, add a few ice cubes, and fill the rest up with Almond milk. I use the shaker bottle with the wire ball in it and shake vigorously . This is delicious and taste like dessert. This high packed power drink keeps
me full and energized for hours!
I love 1 scoop of vanilla protein mix, handful of blueberries or cherries, almond milk, spinach /kale with a dash of the following spices: vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg or a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice! It’s like pie in a glass! Or replace spices with a toothpick stir of a spiced vitality oils ;)

I made this in my vitamix and added a frozen banana and another scoop of pure protein chocolate and it turned out great. I think next time, I will reduce the ice cubes too so it has more flavor.

I interchange the vanilla protein with any of the chocolate protein powder recipes. Just as delicious and lovelier lookiing!
