Winter is on its way out, and it is time to celebrate the new season with our annual Spring Planting! Beginning April 27, join in as we plant balsam fir and red cedar trees in our annual reforestation effort at the Young Living farm in Highland Flats, Idaho. Mona
Employees at the Mona farm are busy preparing and planting for spring. The farm was recently home to the annual Easter Eggstravaganza and welcomed more than 1,800 members, guests, and patrons to the one-of-a-kind celebration. The horses were an event highlight, with the addition of three new Percherons and two new Friesian horses born at the farm. Attendees enjoyed a variety of Easter activities, as well as wagon rides, cart pulls, and draft horse exhibitions. Wagon rides and tours of the farm and distillery are offered on a daily basis.

St. Maries
The fields at the St. Maries farm continue to lay dormant and inaccessible due to mud and saturated ground conditions caused by rain. Work in the fields should resume within the next weeks, weather permitting.

Young Living brand ambassador Mitch Seavey took second place in the 2015 Iditarod dog sled race. The annual event, which starts in Anchorage and finishes eight days later in Nome, Alaska, is recognized worldwide as the sport’s most important race. Mitch completed the 979-mile race in eight days, 22 hours, 22 minutes, and 56 seconds, just four hours behind his son, Dallas, who took first. In the 43-year history of the Iditarod race, the Seaveys are only the second father and son team to finish in the top 10, and they’ve done it an astonishing six times in the past seven years!

Mitch began mushing in 1963 and has competed in 21 Iditarod races, finishing in the top 10 twelve times, taking first place twice. Congratulations to Mitch and the Seavey family!

The first-ever European Leadership Seminar was an outstanding success, filled with motivation, recreation, and team spirit!

Held in March on the breathtaking island of Tenerife in Spain, this 4-day event rewarded qualifying members for their determination and passion for growing their Young Living businesses. The trip was a wonderful opportunity for members to meet other leaders and to share experiences and personal ambitions for the future. A highlight of the seminar was a motivational presentation by Royal Crown Diamond Teri Secrest, who focused her comments on ways to grow your health, business, and personal goals to new heights.

Attendees also enjoyed the five-star luxury of the Abama Golf and Spa Resort, a secluded private beach, and fun team-building exercises, which involved a Jeep safari through the dramatic volcanic landscapes of Tenerife!

“The feeling of being part of something bigger, with people working together with integrity, from heart to heart, is what gives you the drive to attend,” said Gold member Gabriela Ristow-Leetz. “I’ll be there in 2016!"
