My husband uses cedarwood to support hair thickness since his is or was becoming thinner. I mix cedarwood and lavender to help support my sleep.. Peace and calming got me started using the oils for sleep but this combo of cedarwood and lavender is great. Keep a jar of the oils mixed with coconut oil at my bedside. Now I am going to mix with my Argan oil and put on my hair daily. Thanks for the great usage tips!
I dry brush my skin with Cedarwood Oil every morning before I shower. A few (3-4) drops on the brush and away I go! (always remember to brush toward the heart!). I start with my feet and work my way up to the top of my head. Just takes a minute and the reward is so worth it. The aroma of the Cedarwood in the bathroom and the smooth texture to my skin is wonderful. I leave the house for work with a great attitude :)
Do u actually use a baby brush or something like that?
There are brushes with bristles made just for dry brushing of the skin.

I hesitate to post this. Let me say 1st. I LOVE my oils! But, Cedarwood reminds me of a cat box!! Why is that?!?! I must be weird. I am going to try defusing it.
I find that the smell completely depends on the harvest. The first bottle I ever bought was sweet and heavenly……the next bottle was a bit off, yes you could say a hint of cat box……try adding a drop of orange or another sweet smelling oil and see if you like it better.
does it help your hair growth and get thicker? what does it do for your eye lashes?
I love reading comments! Unfortunately I’ve not had the privilege of using Cedarwood yet. But look forward to sharing my experience when I have!
Makes my hair so soft and shiny — I put a couple of drops through my hair after washing and drying — plus the smell is fantastic!
I hated the cedarwood smell straight from the bottle… getting used to it now. However…diffusing it relaxes and silences my mind chatter in 5 minutes and my sleeps are longer. I love Cedarwood now.
I hate the smell right out of the bottle as well. (of Cedarwood). But I am getting some great ideas here and will try them out.
