The award recognizes thirty women in Utah who are strong leaders, advocates within their communities and set a strong personal and professional example for their peers.

Prior to starting Young Living with Gary, Mary established and cultivated her own direct selling business. She was introduced to direct sales in 1985, and within two years had built a successful, multi-million dollar organization. Her experience in the direct selling industry, along with her determination and tenacity, drove her to help Gary turn his passion for essential oils and farming into a successful company. Mary plays a vital role in bringing the mission and benefits of Young Living to the world.
Mary is actively involved in supporting and advising distributors on how to grow their own businesses, and sets an example that empowers women to excel and create their own future. A natural leader and mentor, Mary dedicates much of her personal effort and time to helping others succeed. She empowers others with her entrepreneurial approach and endless determination.
