Sustainable energy innovations at Highland Flats Distillery

We’re thrilled to announce the latest energy innovation at our Highland Flats Distillery in Naples, Idaho! Young Living is constantly looking for new ways to create a healthy home for each of us and a healthy world for all of us and this innovation brings us even closer to that goal.
At Highland Flats, the largest and most technologically advanced essential oil distillery in North America, we accomplished this recently by replacing our 500-horsepower firetube boiler with two new, more efficient 150-horsepower boilers. This resulted in a 32 percent reduction in fuel and energy usage per kilo (roughly a quarter gallon) of oil.
What does it all mean? With this upgrade, we’re saving significant energy so that each drop of premium essential oil from our Highland Flats location is more sustainably produced than ever. With our Seed to Seal® quality commitment, we provide premium, essential oil-infused products in a sustainable way that puts people and the planet first.
